Ashanti Performs 'Mother', 'Foolish,' And B.I.G.'s 'One More Chance' at VH1 Dear Mama 2019

This year's Dear Mama: A Love Letter to Mom special saw Monica celebrate motherhood with a medley performance of "Angel" and "Angel of Mine,” Ashanti performed “Foolish,” “Mother” and “One More Chance,” while Luke James stepped up to deliver “Reasons'” and “Shining Star.”
Ashanti's mother was brought to tears while Ashanti's younger sister Shia joined the "Foolish" singer on stage to perform her 2008 song "Mother" from Ashanti's album The Declaration. Anthony Anderson did more than just host the show alongside LaLa Anthony. He rapped the late Notorious B.I.G.'s verse in Ashanti's "Unfoolish" during her performance of the song, hyping up the crowd.
