Singer Cassie Ventura, 33, and husband Alex Fine, 26, are parents for the first time!
TMZ reports that Cassie gave birth to a baby girl Friday at a hospital in Los Angeles.
According to the site, they named their bundle of joy Frankie Fine. The baby reportedly weighed 8 lbs., 4 oz. and measured more than 21 inches long.
In October, Cassie and Alex celebrated their daughter’s highly anticipated arrival at a baby shower luncheon at The Highlight Room in Los Angeles. She wrote on Instagram,
"Thank you @thehighlightroom & @pavan for hosting my Baby Shower/Girls Night @dreamhollywood. Special thank you to @heyimdeo, @marnixmarni, @melissaandre + @dereksroche for putting it all together! Love you guys!"
Karrueche Tran and Melissa Andre were among the attendees at the shower, which was filled with balloons and pink roses.
The baby’s arrival comes just months after Cassie and Alex tied the knot in Malibu. Director Peter Berg officiated the wedding.
Cassie revealed in June that she was pregnant. She and her personal-trainer husband went public with their romance last December, one year after she split from on-again, off-again love Diddy.
