Coko of SWV Shares That a Woman Was Shot Outside Of Her Hotel Before 'Verzuz' Battle

SWV’s Coko Clemons took to her Instagram to share that a woman was shot outside of her hotel as she was preparing to take the stage and perform for the latest Verzuz showcase.
“Last Night as I am preparing for verzus a lady was shot outside my hotel window. To see and hear the four shots, see her laying on the ground and all the blood was unbelievable!!” she wrote.
Coko revealed that that harrowing ordeal contributed to a really bad anxiety attack that almost made her not perform.
“Literally crying & screaming. Yeah y’all saw me looking uncomfortable & irritated during the first half but if it wasn’t for my son @jayyemichael @ynottamiya and @mrljb I probably wouldn’t have been out there at all.”
Coko concluded the post by thanking her loved ones for calming her down and for understanding her mental state.
“I always say most won’t care to understand but when you get those that do cherish them!!” she added.
