Colin Kaepernick Is Unsure Why Jay-Z and Beyoncé Didn’t Stand During National Anthem at Super Bowl

Beyoncé and Jay-Z brought their daughter Blue Ivy to Super Bowl Sunday. The three were spotted at Sunday’s event where Beyonce stunned in an emerald green suit.

The Super Bowl is nothing new to the family as Queen Bey performed during the Halftime show in 2013.

Jay-Z also just recently partnered with the NFL to give his advice on the entertainment portions of the Super Bowl, like the halftime show.

During the National Anthem, which was sung by Demi Lovato, many people decided not to stand in protest police brutality and to show support for Colin Kaepernick. Beyonce and Jay-Z were one of the families that stayed seated in video obtained by TMZ.

Colin Kaepernick spent his Super Bowl Sunday helping those in need, the former 49ers quarterback let the couple know how he felt.

In an Instagram Story re-post of a friend who tagged him, Kap shared an image of TMZ's story about Jay and Bey sitting during the anthem with the words, "I thought we were 'past kneeling' tho?" written on the picture.

Kap's girlfriend, Hot 97 and MTV host Nessa Diab, echoed in his sentiments with the same re-post. Diab has called out Hov in the past as well, denying claims made by the rap mogul that he'd spoken with Kap prior to accepting the position with the NFL.
