Formerly of The Fugees, Lauryn Hill returns to the Hip Hop spectrum with her first solo song in five years.
Lauryn Hill's new song called 'Guarding the Gates' and it appears on the newly released soundtrack for director Melina Matsoukas's film Queen & Slim.
Down below, you can hear Hill's contribution, as well as the entire OST. Other soundtrack artists include Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, Vince Staples and 6lack, among others.
Queen & Slim stars Daniel Kaluuya and Jodie Turner-Smith as a couple on the run after an altercation with a police officer turns violent. Sturgill Simpson, Chloë Sevigny and Flea are also featured in the film.
The score for the film was composed by Blood Orange mastermind Dev Hynes.
