New Music: Summer Walker & Usher 'Come Thru'

Summer Walker and Usher get close in their sultry new 'Come Thru' video. The song, which appears on Walker's 2019 debut Over It, features a sample of Usher's 1997 classic 'You Make Me Wanna.' Adding to the late '90s vibe is 'You Make Me Wanna' co-writer Jermaine Dupri, who makes a cameo at the video shot at Atlanta's 285 Flea Market.
'Come Thru' is currently Summer's third highest charting song, peaking at #42 on Billboard's Hot 100. However, that could change with the right single treatment. Her fans clearly took a liking to the track and if it gets pushed into mainstream consciousness, it may be capable of topping the charts.
"Come Thru" It's impossibly smooth and feeds the pervasive nostalgia for late 90's-early 2000's R&B.
