In case you forgot, Jennifer Lopez and Diddy were one of the hottest couples of the early 2000s. During a Wednesday interview with Power 105.1's The Breakfast Club, Lopez opened up about her former relationship with him, explaining he recently reached out to her fiancé Alex Rodriguez to apologize for a comment he left on Lopez's Instagram.
"We never lived together," Lopez said. "We were boyfriend and girlfriend when we were little, I feel like that was such a long time ago, it was a different type of relationship."
One of the show’s hosts then brought up the admiring comment Diddy left on her #10DayChallenge Instagram post in January. In response to the post, which saw Lopez displaying her abs in a sports bra and leggings, Diddy wrote: “OMG” with a heart emoji, but later reached out to Rodriguez to clarify that his comment was harmless.
Diddy and Lopez dated for two years and split on Valentine's Day in 2001.
”It was the first time I was with someone who wasn’t faithful," Lopez reportedly told Vibe of their relationship in 2003. "I was in this relationship with Puff where I was totally crying, crazy and going nuts, it really took my whole life in a tailspin."
Clearly, time heals all wounds.
