Remy Ma has turned herself into a charge after being charged with misdemeanor assault, as TMZ reports. The charge stems from an April incident in which the rapper allegedly punched "Love & Hip Hop" actress Brittney Taylor in the face.
The incident allegedly took place three nights prior (April 16), during the Pretty Lou's Birthday Charity Concert at Irving Plaza New York City. The women reportedly had an argument backstage before the alleged attack took place.
Police say a woman walked into the 13th Precinct on April 17, claiming she was the victim of an assault that took place at Irving Plaza the day before.
An investigation determined Smith was responsible. She has already been transported to Central Booking.
