"Hi! My name is!"

With that opening line, Slim Shady sent himself hurtling into notoriety, bringing Eminem and Marshall Mathers along for the ride.

"The Slim Shady LP," was a raw, colorful, parental-advisory-plastered shock wave of a major-label debut.

'Slim Shady LP' is today 20 years old. The album paved the way for Eminem from the underground rapper to the global superstar. The Slim Shady LP has been certified quadruple platinum by the RIAA. The majority of the album's lyrical content is written from the perspective of the rapper's alter ego Slim Shady, whom the rapper created on the Slim Shady EP (1997).

The 20th Anniversary Expanded Digital Edition of Eminem’s ‘The Slim Shady LP’ is NOW AVAILABLE!
