WATCH | Netflix Shares First Trailer for Notorious B.I.G. Documentary

Netflix has released the first trailer for its upcoming documentary on Notorious B.I.G., titled Biggie: I Got A Story to Tell.


The new documentary is set to cover Biggie Smalls’ early life and his ascendance to rap superstardom, with appearances by Faith Evans, Lil Cease, and others.


Footages of the legendary rapper filmed by his best friend Damion 'D-Roc' Butler, as well as sit down interviews with close family and friends including Biggie's mother, Violetta Wallace.

"I was happy that he was making something with his life," Violetta says.
"Biggie blew up overnight - we have no origins from what rap planet this guy came from," Sean Combs (Diddy), who was also an executive producer on the project, says in the trailer.

The documentary was executive-produced by the rap legend’s mother Violetta Wallace and Sean “Diddy” Combs.

Notorious B.I.G., real name Christopher Wallace, was gunned down in 1997 at the age of 24.


Biggie: I Got A Story to Tell premieres on Netflix on March 1st.
