Wendy Williams was candid about her past drug abuse and crack addiction in her second episode of "The Wendy Williams Show" since she made her triumphant return to the purple chair this week.

"I remember when I came out with the crack and coke revelation, plenty of people came out and said, 'We were right there with you,'" Williams, 54, recalled on Wednesday's show.

“I had wasted a lot of my life, burning up my insides, which aren’t burnt, thank God, but you never know when it could pop up,” Williams said Tuesday. “So I constantly have to watch the inside of my body because of hard partying, plus, you know, the thyroid. Just a mess.”

Williams brought up her drug addiction during her “Hot Topics” segment while talking about Luke Perry, who died at the age of 52 on Monday after suffering a stroke last week. Williams said she wondered whether Perry had struggled with substance abuse, although there is no evidence out there that points to it.
