Dipset and The LOX Will Face Off in ‘Verzuz’ Battle

Verzuz announced on Wednesday that Dipset and The LOX will face off in a battle next month at Madison Square Garden.

The two legendary New York hip-hop outfits will go to-to-toe on Aug. 3, with the event livestreamed as well as available to view live in person at MSG.

During an episode of “The Joe Budden Podcast with Rory & Mal,” last year the cohosts discussed some possible opponents for Dipset and narrowed the ideal matchup down to two supergroups: The LOX or G-Unit. They then called Jim Jones to hear his thoughts on battling both groups.

“Well, people would love to see Dipset vs G-Unit, right? the “Vamp Life” rapper asked. “But I doubt that will happen. There is no camaraderie there, and what we gonna listen to? Twenty 50 Cent records pretty much? But let me stop taking jabs.”
